Refund policy
IMPORTANT: In accordance with applicable European consumer protection legislation, including Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, all personalized products or products made according to the customer’s specifications (including engravings, products with names or initials, size modifications or any other customizations) are excluded from the right of withdrawal. Therefore, such products cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances. Once production has started, the order cannot be cancelled.
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, without providing any explanation, within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery of the products.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must submit the return request exclusively through the dedicated procedure available in their account area on www.delacours.com. Requests submitted by email, WhatsApp or any other communication channel will not be accepted.
Once the return request has been approved, the customer will receive the instructions necessary to proceed with the return. Returns may only be requested by the original purchaser.
Products must be returned complete in all their parts, in their original packaging, together with any certificates or warranties provided, and in conditions that allow them to be resold as new. To avoid damage to the original packaging, customers are advised to place it inside a second box and avoid applying labels or adhesive tape directly to the original packaging.
In the event of a return, the shipping costs originally incurred by De La Cours for sending the order will be deducted from the refund amount. As of today, such costs amount to €9.00. This amount may be updated if shipping rates change.
- Return shipping costs are borne by the customer. De La Cours will bear such costs only in the event of manufacturing defects, incorrect shipments or any other circumstances attributable to De La Cours.
- Until proof of delivery to the De La Cours warehouse is obtained, the returned goods remain under the customer’s full responsibility. The right of withdrawal applies only to the product in its entirety and cannot be exercised with respect to individual parts or accessories.
In accordance with applicable European consumer protection legislation, the customer is responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Should the returned product show signs of use, scratches, wear, alterations, missing accessories or any other conditions affecting its commercial value, De La Cours reserves the right to deduct an amount proportional to the loss in value from the refund.
If the product is damaged to such an extent that it can no longer be sold or is permanently unusable, the reduction in value may amount to 100% of the purchase price and, consequently, no refund will be due.
Subject to any deductions resulting from a loss in value, De La Cours will issue the refund within 14 days from receipt and inspection of the returned goods.
If no refund is due because the product has completely lost its value, the goods will remain available at the De La Cours warehouse for a maximum period of 30 days following notification to the customer. After this period, if the customer has not requested the return of the goods at their own expense, De La Cours may dispose of the products without any further obligation.
In the event that a ring ordered in a specific size chosen by the customer proves to be the wrong size, no free exchange will be provided. The customer may exercise the right of withdrawal in accordance with these conditions and place a new order for the correct size.
